You will receive only one copy of your
Test Report Form (TRF), but IELTS will send a copy
of your form to up to five institutions or organisations free of
charge.
The report form is a very valuable document and it is recommended
that you keep it safe and secure because it can not be
replaced.
The IELTS TRF includes:
1. your score, on a Band Scale from 1 to 9,
for each module of the test
2. your overall Band Score, on a scale from 1
to 9
3. whether you have completed the Academic or
General Training module
4. your candidate photo and details of your
nationality, first language and date of birth
Please note:
1. there is no pass or fail mark.
2. All modules are now reported in half
bands.
3. the results are recommended as valid for
two years.
The TRF, in giving a Band Score for each of the four modules of the
test as well as an overall Band Score, allows receiving
institutions to clearly identify your strengths and
weaknesses.
Marking at the test centre ensures that test results are available
without any administrative delay.
A valid Test Report Form bears a centre stamp, candidate photo, a
validation stamp and the IELTS administrator's signature. Test
Report Forms are sent directly from the test centre to the
receiving institution or organisation. Photocopies will not be
accepted.
Test Report Forms will not be issued for tests taken more than two
years ago.
